EFG 100th Store

Phnom Penh, Cambodia, November 20th 2020 –  Express Food Group (EFG), a member of RMA Group, is celebrating a historical milestone marking the opening of its 100th quick service restaurant in Southeast Asia. The 100th store, a branch of The Pizza Company, is located in Yangon, Myanmar No. 1186, Pin Lon Road, 35 Quarter, North Dagon Township.

The Pizza Company will host a series of event as part of the Grand Opening celebration. The soft opening will commence on November 20th 2020 followed by the official opening on December 1st 2020 attended by local Ward and Township officials, dignitaries and EFG and RMA Myanmar management.  Finally, a special media launch attended by guests and social media influencers will round of the activities.

The new store will be EFG’s second The Pizza Company Delco with Seats – a new format focused on counter service, takeaway and delivery, with a 38 dine-in seating capacity.

HungryApp™ Delivery Fleet
Takes Over Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh, November 20th, 2020 – HungryApp™, the new Delivery App for EFG, has completed its driver corporate rebranding.

Drivers from 21 The Pizza Company stores have been redeployed within the HungryApp™ brand. This represents over 160 drivers.

All drivers will now be wearing HungryApp™uniforms and their motorcycles have been badged in the signature green with all the delivery accessories and bag. This forms part of the wider marketing plan in promoting HungryApp™ and extending its customer reach.

The re-branding operations will be complete by early December 2020, ahead of the HungryApp™ extension to more delivery zones in Phnom Penh by the end of the year.

TPC Relocates within Smart Beong Keng Kang 1

Dairy Queen Steng Mean Chey Store Grand Opening & Relocation of Dairy Queen Beng Keng Kang Store

Phnom Penh, November 8th, 2020 – EFG Cambodia celebrated the grand opening of Dairy Queen’s 16th store at Steng Mean Chey located next to The Pizza Company on Street 217. On the day of the launch that attracted a lot of customer interest, Dairy Queen gave away 1,000 ice creams. This was followed up by a “Buy One Get One Free” offer for the next three days.

This new store is another big achievement for Dairy Queen Cambodia. Our special thanks goes out Tha Sokhavortey, Head of Dairy Queen, and Mao Chhaya, Dairy Queen Senior Marketing Executive.

Dairy Queen also celebrated a store relocation opening of the Beng Keng Kang store. Similarly there were opening day activities such as mascot dancing, 1,000 ice cream giveaways and “Buy One Get Free promotion.”

2020 Swensen’s Excellence Award Competition

Phnom Penh, November 6th, 2020 – Swensen’s held its 6th annual Excellence Award Competition. Teams comprised of staff from all of Swensen’s seven outlets in Cambodia competed for the top prizes in various categories.

We aim to create Instagram worthy moments with picture perfect Ice 2020 Swensen’s Excellence Award Competition Cream Sundaes and celebrating its passionate customers by offering magical moments”. He also added.

It is an honour moment for Swensen’s Olympia Mall team to have earned this year’s title of Excellence Award Champion 2020. Swensen’s Kampuchea Krom team won the Products Excellence Award, and Swensen’s AEON Mall team received the Services Excellence Award.

Each team has dedicated commitment, great effort and hard work to practice and train. The competition is an experience for staff members to build up a stronger team, and we look forward to the 2021 Excellence Competition.
