EFG Eat Win & Drive 2 Ford EcoSport Prize Winner

Phnom Penh, November 18th, 2021 – EFG Cambodia’s second prize draw in the Eat, Win & Drive 2 Competition was held at AEON Mall, Phnom Penh.

The event was live broadcast across all EFG’s Facebook pages. The first prize of a brand new Ford EcoSport went to a lucky Dairy Queen customer. The runner up prizes went to customers from The Pizza Company, DQ and The Coffee Club branches in Phnom Penh, Poipet, and Battambang respectively. Runner up prizes include gold necklaces, iPads, and televisions.

Cambodians, (of course excluding all RMA staff and their families) get another chance to win great prizes as the Eat, Win & Drive 2 Competition enters its third phase. Another Ford EcoSport is up for grabs and the lucky draw takes place on January 7th.

EFG Signs Up with Green Community Mall

Phnom Penh, November 16th, 2021 – EFG signed a lease agreement with Mean Property Management for opening three EFG brands at the soon to be built Green Community Mall. Dairy Queen, Krispy Kreme Cambodia, and The Pizza Company stores will soon be open at The Green Mall Community.

“EFG is looking forward to grow together with the Community Mall and we will design stores with a fresh layout to offer a different experience to our loyal customer base.” Shared Virak Tep, General Manager EFG-Cambodia.

“The important thing of this potential location is, we can operate with the Drive-through service which is the first ever in the Cambodia that no one has done yet and this is part of our commitment to keep our customers happy,” added Martin, Managing Director , EFG Holding.

EFG Conducted Q4 Workshop and Hall of Fame Award

Phnom Penh, November 12th, 2021 – EFG Holding & Palms Food international conducted a three day workshop for Q4 from November 10th – 12th. Team members received information and insights in an interactive session from the team
lead himself, Martin Darby. A great deal of time was spent sharing and reviewing activities in 2021 and discussing the way forward for 2022 across the five markets EFG-Cambodia, EFG Laos, EFG Myanmar, EFG Thailand, and Palms Food International in Singapore.

On the last day of the workshop, an “EFG Hall of Fame” was also organized to honor and recognize staff members along with a small in person reunion in each market shared via MS Teams.

The staff members recognized by the management for their outstanding contribution to EFG and Palms Food are:
EFG – Cambodia:

  • Sopheak Ly, Finance Manager – Platinum Award
  • Veasna Kith, HR Manager – Gold Award
  • Angelique Tan, Supply chain and Procurement Manager – Gold Award

HungryApp Delivers Happiness with Mr Claus

Phnom Penh, November 7th, 2021 – HungryApp got into the Christmas spirit as Santa Claus descended on the on the Riverside promenade. Mr Claus got down to business engaging with kids of all walks of life and helping the HungryApp drivers distribute loads of delicious Krispy Kreme doughnuts to the delight of kids and families.

Phnom Penh’s best known Santa, an Australian national, gets into his Santa suit every year as he sets off to spread the Christmas spirit. This is a beautiful moment filled with joy and made possible again as Cambodia reopens and begins recovering from the Covid impact.
