Phnom Penh, October 20th, 2021 – The EFG leadership team convened for the annual Senior Management Workshop held from October 20th to 22nd at the FCC Angkor by Avani, Siem Reap province from October 20th – 22nd. Thirteen managers based in Cambodia joined in person with six managers attending online through MS Teams.

The Annual Workshop centered around a critical evaluation of 2021 performance and 2022 planning with a commitment to achieve EFG’s long-term vision together. Topics covered in review were the smart phone audit at site, led by Martin Darby Managing Director of EFG Holding and Palms Food international Pte Ltd; a critical finance discussion led by Erwan Soubelet, CFO RMAC and an impressive review session of 2021 performance and implementation of store standards led by Ray Naputo, Quality Assurance Manager.

In concluding the workshop, participants drafted a joint resolution to drive performance for the coming year which states, “We are a team of people that exceeds the budget in a long term vision by collaboration to create an environment of trust, and to being open to new ideas with the winning mindset and always working in a fun, happy and friendly manner”.

Phnom Penh, October 15th, 2021 – EFG Cambodia’s food brands all joined Hungry App to commemorate World Food Day by delivering happiness and delicious meals to the medical practitioners stationed at Phnom Penh’s Olympia Stadium, a temporary Covid Care Facility.

Led by Dr. Soun Samith, Head of the Center, and his management team, the center has treated thousands of Covid patients during the pandemic.

Hungry App went to work promptly and in no time delivered a combination of food orders from The Pizza Company, Krispy Kreme, Swensen’s, Eat Together and The Coffee Club to Olympia Stadium.

Yangon, October 11th, 2021 – The second wave of COVID-19 impacted Myanmar adversely with little to no vaccines available in the country and a crippled health care system. As vaccines became available EFG immediately proceeded to vaccinate all staff and their family members in October.

As of October 11th, all EFG Myanmar employees and their families have been fully vaccinated. The EFG teams can now go back to what they do best – with added confidence and a smile.

Phnom Penh, October 10th, 2021 – EFG stores in Laos celebrated Halloween this month in full force. With funky store decorations, fun additions to the uniforms to create an ambience.

The team also put together creative promotions to engage customers across brands. It’s a fun event, and the staff thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Phnom Penh, October 5th, 2021 – Krispy Kreme has opened a new kiosk style store at Aeon Mall, Phnom Penh. The fresh new concept kiosk offers customers a unique purchase experience and is strategically located to provide customers a convenient excuse to stop for a doughnut or three.

Krispy Kreme ran special opening promotions to the welcome surprise of shoppers. There are plans to enhance the menu with additional flavours and varieties.
