Yangon, July 23rd 2020 – Starting in June, The Pizza Company marketing team of EFG Myanmar organized a picture sharing activity for staff members and customers in 10 TPC branches in Myanmar. Capturing beautiful moments and creating special memories for customers dining at TPC. Photos were taken by the branch staff using customers’ mobile phones.
Vientiane, July 23rd 2020– Construction is well underway on the second Texas Chicken outlet at the Cultural Hall Precinct in the heart of Vientiane.
The new Texas Chicken will be siding up to The Pizza Company and Swensen’s stores which are also under construction, creating a convenient one stop dining venue for all three brands.
The 170sqm store is perfectly optimized in terms of kitchen size, service and dine-in area and it faces a large 80 vehicle car park making it that much more accessible to motorists.
The three store concept will conveniently feed into EFG’s new Hungry App which makes orders from multiple brands possible thereby also significantly reducing delivery time with all collections being made at one point.
Construction began in June and the opening is scheduled for September 2020.
Mandalay, July 21st 2020 – During recent monsoon flooding, thousands of Amarapura Township residents had to be evacuated due to the fast rising waters of the Ayeyawady River.
Mandalay City Development Committee, Myanmar Fire Services Department, and community volunteers worked tirelessly in a race against time, to stem the rising water by filling the embankment with sand bags and rocks.
To support their heroic efforts, EFG Myanmar arranged for The Pizza Company staff to visit the stricken area and deliver fresh, hot pizza to the rescue workers and volunteers.
Yangon, July 17th, 2020 – EFG Myanmar organized a special birthday celebration for their employees with birthdays in July.
The celebrations were held at The Pizza company Dagon Centre, Yangon and The Pizza Company in Mingalar, Mandalay. All in all there were 27 EFG staff who celebrate their birthdays in July , 22 from Yangon and 5 from Mandalay.
Each member of staff received a birthday card and special gift from Peter Jones, General Manager EFG Myanmar. Swensen’s staff received TPC vouchers as their special birthday gift, whilst the SW staff received TPC gift vouchers.
